As a member of Universität Hamburg, would you like to hold an event in the Guest House and book a conference or club room for it? Then you should know that Universität Hamburg and the Stiftung Weltweite Wissenschaft can grant you a rental subsidy of up to €600 per event. It’s very simple: Submit an informal application and send it to Ms. Martina Jaeger from the Department of Research and Academic Support at Universität Hamburg with a copy to the Guest House. Your contact there is Ms. Sonja Lorenzen-Sapori, Assistant General Manager of the Guest House. The University of Hamburg and the Stiftung Weltweite Wissenschaft will notify you independently of each other, each with a copy of the approval or rejection of your funding. If your event is funded and you have received approval, the Guest House will send you an invoice for 50% of the room rental fee for the event. As the organizer, you submit this invoice to the University of Hamburg, Ms. Martina Jaeger. Expenses that are not part of the room rental will be invoiced separately and unfortunately cannot be subsidized.
